The
UW Choral Music Program in collaboration with the UW Libraries and major libraries in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania is developing one of the most comprehensive collections of Baltic choral music available in North America, currently numbering some 700 items.

The collection consists of music scores and sound recordings (housed in the UW
Music Library and Listening Center), and books about Baltic choral music (housed in either the Music Library or
Suzzallo-Allen Library). Materials identified as “In Process” or “On Order” are not yet available in the public book stacks, but their availability may be expedited by using the “Request” button in the online catalog.
This finding aid is designed to help users readily identify materials in the collection by country of origin, composer’s name, genre (choral, vocal, or instrumental), type of publication (score, recording, or book), or any combination of these attributes.
Comments, suggestions, or questions about the Baltic choral music collection may be directed to the UW Libraries’ Slavic, Baltic, and East European Section at
