Minoru Araki left Mindoka to join the Army and served in Europe. He later graduated from Boston University Medical School using the G.I. Bill. He married Pearl Aoyama and they settled in New York. Dr. Araki was the deputy chief medical examiner of Nassau County, New York when he died on 3 November 1986.
