Want to Have Your Class Papers Added to the Index?
The Friday Harbor Class Papers Index is an ongoing project to provide electronic indexing to the collection of student papers produced at the Friday Harbor Laboratories. If you would like your papers bound, added to the collection, and included in the index, please submit the following to Maureen Nolan, Head, Friday Harbor Library, upon completion of your course of instruction:
- Student papers, preferably with the pages renumbered sequentially as a group
- Cover sheet with course name and number, semester, year, and instructor name(s)
- Table of contents
The index is also searchable by taxonomy and location. Please ask your students
to provide any species and locations studied on the cover page of their
papers so that we can add them to the record for their individual paper.
Where are the Class Papers located?
The Friday Harbor Labs Class Papers are located as a separate collection
in the Friday Harbor Library. The papers are arranged by year and then
by class number. The Class Papers are not cataloged in the UW Libraries
Catalog. The only indexing for the papers is through the Friday Harbor
Class Papers Index.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Maureen Nolan, Head, Friday Harbor Library.
